What does this quote mean ?

Question:"even god cannot change the past"
-agathon

its pretty simple with an obvious meaning but theres so much else going on behind this quote and i would like to know your opinion on it.
thank you.

Answers:
It means the past is history and no force in heaven or Earth can change it. The implication is that one must now move forward and live life in the present and plan for the future.
Many people believe that anything is possible with God. But to say "even God cant.." means that neither God or you can change the past. What happened ,happened. Their is no way to go back into time and fix it. The only thing you can control now is your future.
