Uhhh, I thank who ever made me thankful. And if its my actions and my hard work that has made me thankful I treat myself to some chocolate or a shot of tequila (which ever I'm in the mood for)
And if its a person that has done something for me then I thank them and try to repay the kindness. there are alot of people I have to thank, first and foremost are my parents and family for always loving me no matter what.

I did not know this quote, nor its author. Kudos to Sunny Huynh who came up with the authors name. I always assumed that the worst moment for an Atheist was when he/she realized that they had no invisible means of support.
