code name fo Churchill in World War II?
its kinda like secret agent code
like they say it in those movies with corny FBI people
it means like the person they are "watching" has "entered"
If you're pretending to be an ultra awesome super undercover agent, you could sound intelligent by saying that. Or, like.. the crow is in flight! The crow flies at midnight. All that jazz :D
The LEM that first landed on the moon was called Eagle.

It means that a great achievement has been accomplished
it's borrowed from the very popular world war two thriller written by Jack Higgins and was spoken during the Apollo XI moon landing in 1969 to signify that the astronauts had landed safely.

I find it almost impossible, and shocking, to discover that there are literate people in the civilised world, who don't know this, the second most important quotation in the history of man.

Mission Commander Neil Armstong uttered these words on July 20 1969, when the manned Lunar Lander, code named Eagle, of the Apollo11 mission to the Moon, touched down on the surface of the Moon in the Sea of Tranquility, one of the great dark patches on the face of the Moon.

A little later Neil Armstrong became the first human being ever to set foot on another world when he stepped down from the Eagle on to the lunar surface. On this occasion he uttered the most important and significant words ever spoken by a human being - "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
