What are your favourite political quotes?

Question:They don“t have to be from polticians, but do need to be relevant in some way to politics.

eg.

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." George Orwell, this is one of my favourites.

Please provide as many quotes as you like, but include the author/orator. Oh, they can be politically correct or not, and from all poltical spectrums - you can quote Martin Luther King or Hitler.

I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, men other-centered can build up. I still believe that one day mankind will bow before the altars of God and be crowned triumphant over war and bloodshed, and non-violent redemptive goodwill will proclaim the rule of the land 'and the lion and the lamb shall lie down together and every man shall sit under his own vine and fig tree and none shall be afraid.' I still believe that we shall overcome."
