The savage in Brave New Wrold?

Question:In the novel Brave New World. What or who are they refering to when they mention the savage?
much appreciation

Answers:
The lead character - a young man born outside of the tightly controlled society and raised by his mother on an intellectual diet of Shakespeare and philosophy. He is really the illegitimate son of Mustopha Mond (if memory serves).

That being said, it sounds like you are doing a school assignment and haven't read the book. If you're not going to read the book (and that's too bad, because it is a really good Sci Fi novel), at least read the Cliffs Notes!
an indian?
If I remember correctly, the name of "the savage" is actually: John, who's also the main character of the novel.
