Please write the contents about preparation, performance, classroom management, post-supervision evaluation and so on.
Answers:
I would say that you need to observe a classroom to do this. An example:
Preparation: you would have to ask the teacher how long did it take her to prep her materials, what goes into prep of the materials, does she receive help with prep of materials.
Classroom Management: Does she have a class behavior plan, individual behavior plan, classroom schedules, therapy schedules, related arts schedules, how does she help the students transition between activities.
Post-supervision Evaluation: what tools does she use to evaluate the day. Does her supervisor have a form she fills out or does she get one presented to her on a regular basis.
Each placement is different and every classroom is different. Especially in special education, there are specifics that happen in classrooms because of the students.
Good Luck!
Ihave to do this too but mine is called a reflection? Sorry I couldnt help you actually need to be in the classroom yourself to be able to describe it properly
First, you didn't mention in what capacity you are asking for a sample-report or format to do so.If you are a parent, highlight your problem/concern why you are in need of it?If you are a special educator, you get all these things during your training.Anyhow, you can search on internet on websites designed for training purpposes.
Your question ends with the word OBSERVATION.
An observation is to merely state what you saw and heard (smelled, tasted, touched).
Stating "the teacher taught the class very well" is an opinion, not an observation. I might have seen the same lesson and said it was terrible.
An observation would say:: "Ms. Jones, a 3rd year teacher of students with moderate cognitive impairments, began a lesson on XYZ by providing students with a tactile experience using yada yada pictures." "Each student had the opportunity to participate by .." "While the students worked on the task assigned, Ms. Jones met with each student individually and asked 'point to the such-and-such picture.' The students appeared to be familiar with the routine as each student waited patiently for their turn."
To write your report, just state what happened withOUT using opinion.
