Special effects for a seven year old?

Question:Myseven year old is fascinated by special effects. Epecially the action ones. can any one recommend any books DVD,software, websites,courses etc thatwould be suitable for that age group that can either seplainhow things are doen and give him a chance at making some simple effects.

Look through the special features on DVDs, as they often have short films on the special effects.The Star Wars ones are very good for this.
