This may not be exactly what you want but firstly I researched what the siegreid line was. It was the fortification against France along the German Border. So the border of the country contained the siegreid line. Encarta Encyclopaedia only goes that far without saying WHICH PART of the border it was on but maps in other books show it is the border from Holland to Basle. It does go on to say it is named after Segfreid, the (nearly) invincible hero of a German legend.
Older people may say look out for the washing hanging on it!
