I would really need to know their developmental level to help you out.
My little brother is autisitic..he's 10..
He absolutely loves jumping on the trampoline, so one of those might come in handy..
We have a net around ours so there's no fear of him falling off..
Also, I've noticed a pattern in autistic children loving animals..my brother can spend hours playing with and chasing around our dogs..I don't know how your group home is about pets though..
It's the simple things that they like really..
Good luck :)
That is great that you work with these two boys and they sound like they are quite a handful!! Some good outdoor activities for them to do to help burn off extra energy would be games like tag, and maybe some hand and eye coordination games like catch. These are only a couple of ideas to help get you started. I hope these helped!! Good luck!! ☺☼☻
water but PLEASE have good supervision nothing over the head... They like to look at the reflections.. maybe those twirling ribbons I think gymnastics uses them. Sand boxes if their sensories can handle it. bubble machine . maybe soemthing like a seesaw the two can learn how to work together.
How about having a scavenger hunt outside, but instead of using a written list, use pictures instead. Autistic people are very visual and will take to the game much better! Good luck!
