Where can I find a free sensory swing frame and swing?

Question:I need to find some items to work with my brother who asperger's syndrome and sensory problems. The only problem is insurance will not cover any type of these items and my family is very low income. We don't have a big tree in our yard to hang one from either. He hates park swings he needs the deep pressure more. I'm also looking for maybe a hammock swing, and some other sensory products. Any ideas? I would like to give his some things for christmas if I can find them super low priced or for free.

Answers:
You may be able to get some financial help from the local Regional Center or Children's Services Department. They fund children who have special needs, and Children's Services pays for equipment for children who can't get insurance to cover it. Contact your local school district to point you in the right direction, or you can contact a distributer (such as Abilitations www.abilitations.com) that sells the products you are looking for. Often they have customer assistance personnel who can tell you where to ask for financial help in your state.
