How do you measure your IQ???

Question:If I want to see what my IQ is, where can I find out?? I've tried doing IQ tests online but the ones I've tried are all different and they seem to last 1-2 hours! So then I end up half reading the questions which are really long and guess the answer... Anyone know?

Answers:
Guess that means you have no Patience, and are thick.
Half your score comes from finding the IQ test site. Go for it Janey.
I use a tape measure.
Janey why do you care? If you put effort in and look at things from all possible angles you can accomplish anything mentally. Mine's 142 but it's just a number and has no bearing on anything I do really. The tickle one shouldn't take you more than an hour though.
Try Mensa!
Take the Mensa IQ Test, its on-line under Mensa
Try this site.
You will not get an accurate IQ score from the small 10-20 question IQ tests. The 1-2 hour ones are comprehensive if a bit time consuming.

There are a variety of different IQ tests and do not test you on things like general knowledge which is subjective in the extreme but rather on Logic, spatial awareness etc which do not require prior knowledge but on cognitive reasoning. Mensa I am sure provide some standard tests. IQ scores can vary wildly from test to test and you should do a few of them and then average them (or just choose the highest score :-) )

as a general rule of thumb the average person's IQ is 100 college graduates will be around 120 and the "Genius" level is 140+ though some tests have different scoring systems.

IQ scores generally mean sweet bugger all though..I have had scores which put me at 147 and don't think for one second that I am that much smarter than friends who have scored lower. IQ tests measure a very small range of cognitive abilities where some people are very gifted but don't take into account a lot of other areas.

Aptitude tests are more rounded in terms of measuring your strengths or abilities... though they generally take even longer than IQ tests.
Unfortunately, if you want an accurate score, you're going to need to dedicate 1-3 hours of your time. If you want take a totally reliable test, you should see if you can be tested by a psychologist. If your looking for a rough estimate, try tickle.com. It usually inflate the scores to an average of 120, but it is more reliable than a lot of the other online tests.
P.S.Tape measures do not work!
Take an IQ test, duh. Maybe you shouldn't bother... I mean look at what you just asked. I mean come on.
