Looking at it right now: yeah, sure, why not. It's got cute little memorization things to help you put the words in context to remember them better and such, which is good.
I personally prefer looking at affixes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/affix... ) and Latin roots (http://www.geocities.com/gene_moutoux/la... ) to learn vocabulary, because for every Latin root you memorize (facere, mittere, venire, etc.), that's a whole set of words that you know or can figure out. And then you can better figure out words you've never seen before instead of just the specific ones you've memorized.
But, yes-- that website looks like good place to learn some vocabulary. It'll help you remember words better than JUST looking at definitions since it has those cute little "Imagine this" parts with the words and funny ways of remembering the pronunciation.
(btw, the SAT doesn't actually have a "verbal" section anymore-- it's "critical reading," "mathematics," and "writing" now.) Good luck! :)
