Your Safe!

I'm starting year 10 this year, after doing my year 8 and 9 SATS. They are nothing to worry about, the results count towards nothing. The governments just give us these stupid tests to examine how well their teachers are doing. The school add pressure because they, understandably, want to be the best school!

GCSE's are something completly different, I'm so nervous because I've just chosen my subjects and am starting school next Wednesday.

Inshallah,

Good luck.
Don't be worried because you have TIME to take them over. I am going to take them EVERY year, so can try and do better each and every time. Just stay calm because if you worry, then it won't be any good. Good luck and I hope you do exceptionally wonderful on them! :]
If you are in 8th or 9th grade then your SAT score really wont matter at all. Only the SAT that you take in your 11th and 12th years matter the most. It will have absolutely no affect on your college admissions. Dont worry about it, but make sure you keep improving because if you mess them up in both 11th and 12th grade then you wont be able to get into the better universities.
The English SA Ts this year were horrible, I know, I invigilated, most people did badly, don't worry. The main point of them is to stream people and help them choose options for year 10. They will not contribute to your final marks, for GCSE, college, university or anything. Good Luck
Don't worry about your SATs - they won't have any effect on your college or university. If you get a disappointing result, talk to your teacher about what you need to do to improve to get good GCSE results. And certainly don't spend the last few days of the summer holidays worrying - enjoy your freedom! :)
Don't let it concern you. SATS do not mean anything at all, the only influence they may have is what set you go into, which can easily be changed during the year. SATS are just a way for the government to see how schools are performing, they put no mark on your future schooling or career prospects. The only tests you should worry about are GCSE's and A levels, as these are what employers(and collages) look at. You may also want to consider doing the Duke Of Edinburgh award scheme, as this is a big bonus on your CV, some employers may even regards more highly than all your GCSE's levels put together.
