Think about this-
1. What do you care about? What is happening in the world that seems important to you? The war in Iraq? Recovery in New Orleans? Immigration problems between the US and Mexico?
2. Why are these issues important to YOU -- because you have something in common with the people who are affected (you are one, you know one, you feel like one of them).
3. How did you find out about these issues?
Try talking to someone (a friend or family member) and telling them your answers like you are telling a story. Write notes when you say something you like on sheets of paper numbered 1,2, and 3 (to relate to each question number).
Afterwards, sit down and put your notes into paragraphs. This will be easier after you've already talked through it.
Hope this helps!
