My last IQ test came in at 144 and I was somewhere in the range of 12 years old, I should hope it is a bit higher now that I have matured and gone to college and gotten my degree.
I don't think that they actually meant "smarter" as you are using it. I think that we simply know more random facts.
For instance, if I wanted to know who the current champion bowler in America is, I would simply look it up. People who don't use the internet so much just put up with being curious and let-down all the time. For reals.
