AP English (literature, I presume...) was pretty easy for me. It's not one you can really study for (which is awesome because I hate studying :p). It really mostly requires skills you probably have or don't have already. There are poetry and prose selections to write on and multiple choice reading comprehension questions (Think SAT but harder). If you're already good at English, it shouldn't require too much prep.
AP Chem killed me because I hate studying and there was A LOT of info to know. The test was recently revised, and now the hardest part, equation writing, is a lot easier. The multiple choice this year required a lot of mental math (no calculators on MC), but I found the free response guided me through them and weren't really that bad. This class requires crazy studying but the concepts aren't impossible or anything.
Are you taking AP Eng. Language or Literature...LAnguage was much easier than Literature, but I would say both are pretty easy...AP Chem kicked my butt when I took it though, even my friends who are really good at math and science had a hard time with it.
The exams were long. Chem was pretty tough, but English was easy. Either way I wish you the best of luck
Didn't take AP English but I took AP Chem
I barely studied for the AP Chemistry exam...literally only 1 hour, but I still got a 5. Some of the multiple choice questions were hard, but the free response portion was a joke. There was an equilibrium question that was a lot easier than ones I've seen on previous exams, and there was also a galvanic cell question. I think I owe it all to my teacher who gave like 2 hrs of hmwk daily...people who get B's or even C's in his class are guaranteed to get a 5 on the exam
