Considering it was your first time taking it, you have hope. I would suggest you study for it ( buy a book or take a course), then take it over.
it looks pretty good for getting into most colleges. go talk to your school counslers to see for sure if its a good score.
Absolutely - you will be competing really hard to get in to a college as a freshman and you need every advantage you can get. If testing is not your thing, you might consider going to a community college for the first two years, and then transferring to a 4-year college. It will be cheaper, and it will take the pressure off.
