To get into Biology, Zoology, or something like that would be much less stringent than getting into the UCUC program- mainly because if you get into the UCUC you are going to be in med school, if you go into a regular major, you have to apply to Med School later. As other have said, speak with a counselor for specifics, but you get into the standard UC programs with decent test scores and GPA- it certainly doesnt have to be perfect scores for UC. UC isnt super-stringest on admissions- they arent nearly as tough as Miami, or an Ivy League school. You should consider Ohio State and the NEOUCOM programs up in northern Ohio as well, if you are truly hell-bent on med school by the way, dont put all of your eggs in the UC basket.
no
uhhh good grades maybe, I dunno what did it say on the application?
General information is provided at the website below. For specifics you would need to call or make an appointment with an admissions counselor.
Best of luck to you.
If they don't have the requirements posted on their website, I suggest that you contact their admissions peoples and ask, they wont make you sign any contracts or send in money, but I'm sure they can tell you what you need to get into their school. That's what they're there for, they'll be more than happy to talk to a future student (or atleast they should be). Good luck!
