here is a link to a very general description of the course and test: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ap_us_histo...

there is a DBQ (which is easier than the AP european DBQ because you dont have to group) and theres FRQs(you write like 2 essays and can choose from two lists of 3 topics each or soemthing like that) then theres multiple choice. each is weighted diffrently.

ive heard from friends that its easy, that its super hard, and more. youll do fine as long as you have a great teacher, read everything, and memorize presidents, their policies, years of presidency, haha jk. youll be fine.
85 questions multiple choice. 2 free response essays and one dbq.

its really hard... i got a 3 on it, and 5s on the others i took, environmental, psych, human geo.

study hard for it because it will be tough
It had 80 MC(i think) 2 Free response questions(and you could pick from a pair of questions for each one) and one Document Based Question.

And yes, during the class you will be writing a LOT of essays, but don't worry, you get used to it.

And the test itself is pretty easy, just make sure you know your stuff. Take some practice tests if you want to.
