Good SAT score?

Question:I just took a practice SAT test and my scores were:
Critical reading: 580
Writing: 580
Math: 550

are these good or just average? my GPA is around a 3.7, and i think i should have done better...

Answers:
These are the national average for SAT scores.
Critical reading: 503
Mathematics: 518
Writing: 497

So, you are slightly above average in every catagory. Not good enough for some "exclusive" colleges but plenty good enough for most. I would take it again if I were you though. You'll probably do better the second time around, most people do.
i got 580 in math and 620 in both english sections. i have a 3.9 GPA...i would say that ur scores are pretty good, good enough for many schools, maybe just not for the very selective. but dont worry, they look at alot more than just SAT.
Pretty good.. bring up your math a little bit though.
Your scores are a little above average. You are definitely not getting into an Ivy league, but if you want to get into an average school, you should be OK. Just be sure to apply to a couple of different schools that you like, in case you don't get into your favorite.
you did great but i thing you should have done better it is above average and if it were the real test you should get a higher score if you want to apply to the best college or university.
