How can I do better on the SAT's?

Question:I didnt get that great a score the first time I took it. I've taken a practice test on sparknotes but it doesnt seem to be getting better. And I've also been studying w/ a Kaplan SAT CD-Rom.

Answers:
Purchase a complete SAT Study book (I suggest CollegeBoard's or Princeton Review's) and begin reading while annotating the text (writing notes in the column, underlining key tips, etc.). Purchase SparkCharts for the New SAT for review.

Above all, practice. Your score will not rise with just studying alone. Take an SAT practice test once a week.
read , dictionary and do plenty of math practice test . workboook , sat subject level 1 and 2 and also sat IIC AND IIIC. underline plenty of word word you don't understand , purchase like webster , oxford ,merrim these are excellent dictionary . read scarlet letter 8 times repeat reading 8 time it help you to do better on test . also read scientific american , ny post , washington post on science like atom , music , personal life .
