Side question: I'm completely in a bind. I just finished my last class today, and have the 5 years of credits to sit for the exam. Unfortunately I just applied to take the exam as well, and June doesn't have a testing window. Is it possible to pass all four parts in just July and August? I will be starting law school in mid august, and i'm not even sure if I'll have time to pass all four tests. Thanks.
Answers:
I used Becker for all four parts and got REG 96, BEC 84, FAR 95, AUD 95. The books were very good. The only weaknesses I found in them was the poor IT coverage in BEC, and gov't & not-foor-profit coverage was not that great in FAR.
I've also heard really good things about Gleim.
It can take 4 - 6 weeks to process your application. You can start studying in the meantime. If you've JUST finished school and the material is still fresh in your head, I say it's totally possible to pass all four sections in the next window (Jul/Aug). It will still be hard work, but possible.

Good luck...& don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. You'll never know unless you try. The only thing you've got to lose is the exam fee, right?
