There is nothing to be nervous about. Build up your confidence and go and make friends and be cheerful and nice to everyone and have a great time. All the kids in the class will be about your age, so why worry, they all think alike like you so dont be nervous. Wear a smile on your face and be brave and confident.

The easiest thing to do is just to think of the transition to 6th grade the same way you handled the transition to 5th grade. In reality, there isn't much of a difference between elementary school and elementary school. Admittedly, in middle school, you have a bunch of different teachers instead of just a homeroom teacher in middle school, but that doesn't make much of a difference. It just means that you'll have more variety in the work that you do.
Sometimes, going into a new building may be intimidating, but that feeling goes away as soon as you can figure out where each of your classes are. I am terrible with directions and my middle school was big, but it only took me a week to figure out where my classes were.
The only thing you'll need to figure out early in the school year is how often you're going visit your locker throughout the day. (I'd suggest at the beginning of the day, before lunch, and at the end of the day.)
