What do you need to score on the SAT to go to Washington State University?

Question:i not a 970 reading and math score and 1450 with the writing. that was only my first SAT take but im super busy and worried that i wont do my best of the SAT again. i love this school but im also looking at central washington unv. which i have no worries getting into. i have at 3.6 GPA and ive had a job, currently working on volunteering and i run and cross country and track. i also plan to join a club or two for senior year. i will be a senior this year :) and it will be a busy one. but anway, let's say i keep my first SAT score (though i do plan to retake it) what are my chances of getting into that school?
thank you for your time and help.

Answers:
According to College Board, the middle 50% of SAT scores for Washington State University is:
Middle 50% of
First-Year Students
SAT Critical Reading: 480 - 590
SAT Math: 500 - 610
(They don't have info on the writing portion)

So your scores are a bit below par-- with your good GPA you do have some chance, but a higher SAT score would be better, of course. Try to get leadership positions in some of the clubs at your school if you can, because the more of that kind of thing you have the better, anything that can be called "leadership" or even generic "extracurricular activities" are essential to college applications. And study a bit for the SAT and take it again-- you're better off even having taken it once, because now you know what to expect on the test (rather than going in blind) and people often do better on a second try just because they're more familiar with the test format and more comfortable.
Good luck!
You need at least 1800 to have a high chance of getting into Washington state. When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from TutorFox: http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html... and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
