What score should I get in SSAT if I want to go to Choate, Hotchkiss, or Andover?

Answers:
Those are highly competitive schools, but they keep more in mind than just SSAT scores. They look at the overall student, sports activity, community service, leadership roles etc. so even if you are not a great test taker but have other qualities they are looking for you might have a shot. That said I'm guessing you will need very high 600's (or better) and be in the 80th-90th percentile or better, in order to be considered for admission regardless of the talent or skills that you bring. .

Choate accepts 25% of applicants.
LOL. the SSAT is only for colleges, not boarding schools. But however, there is a test for the prestige boarding schools, called the weichsler TAG ( talented and gifted
) test. You must get a IQ of 130 +++
I have not taken the SSAT. However, I am certain that you know that the schools you mentioned are very competitive--if the SSAT is out of 2400 for you (grades 8-11), you probably need a 2200 or above to have a good chance, ceteris paribus.
