Question:Could someone explain to me the difference between the scottish exam grading system. ie: is an Intermediate 1, higher than a standard grade but lower than a Higher or are intermediate 1's just another name for Credit scores? Im a little confused. She was studying Int 1 Maths and got a 1, int 1 History and got a 2 and int 1 Chemistry and got a 1. But her regular standard grade Music was also graded 1.
Confused Mum!!
Answers:
standard grade is the level of 14/15-year-olds; intermediates 1 and 2 are somewhere between SG and Higher, as you guessed.
