What's the minimum PSAT score you need to be qualified as a national merit scholar?

Question:

Answers:
It varies from state to state and from year to year. The only list I've been able to find of past selection index cutoffs for National Merit is here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/show... because it's darned hard to find any useful information on http://www.nationalmerit.org/ . Find your state on that list to get an idea of about what score you need to aim for.
201 to 224
That all depends on your state (as some states are lagging behind the others in terms of quality of education, so their average PSAT and SAT scores are lower). The minimum will be in the 200-220 range for your state.
