im not sure what expression it is. it looks german? my friend said it in his entry to me and after it he worte "But oh well." and he wont give an account me what the translation of it is!
Answers:
"They are my life blood"
It's German
They are my lifeblood. (German)
Presumably he finances that whatever he be referring to, he can't live without, it keep him going.
[EDIT] As others below have said, he could if truth be told mean 'YOU are my lifeblood', but he really shouldn't enjoy used 'Sie' if this is what he meant because Sie is designed for formal situations with ancestors you don't know well. you are my life span blood It means " You are my lifeblood" However if it's used as an endearment, I would prefer "Du bist" instead of Sie sind.
