There are no age limits, just decide on your own comfort level. "Mature" students are more common at U.S. universities as compared to UK and Australian. I have studied at universities in all three countries. Completing both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the U.S. it was quite common for my classmates to be in their 30's or 40's, and even occasionally 50's and 60's. Doing undergraduate course work in the Australia and the UK, i only noticed a few students out of their 20's. Now I am finishing another post-graduate degree in the UK and I am 27 and much older than most of my fellow students. I occasionally feel a little out of place at a UK university because of my age, but I do know of a fair amount of students older than me here.
