Just to let you know, studying law in the U.S. does not preclude you from practicing law in the U.K. It may take a little longer and cost a little more in terms of education, but if you decide to go to law school in the states, you will be able to look at international law firms in both countries or just follow the normal UK Inns of Court path afterwards.
