Where should I go?

Question:I am graduating next year, but I have decided that I wanted to do law more than anything, so I will go back to uni to complete another course in law. The thing is, I couldn't decide between London or New York, I would like to remain in the UK for at least another 5-10 years but if I were to study American law, I could not practice in UK but it gives me the opportunity to make shyte loads of money, but I still like UK, especially London, but I'm just not ready to leave yet, what should I do?

Answers:
I am assuming you are aware that the standard loan debt for a U.S. college student averages at 60K USD, and you will receive no financial assistance from the UK for your studies?

Assuming you graduate from a Tier 1 (out of four) competitive program at the top percentile of your class, you could expect initial renumeration anywhere from 80K to 100K at a large firm.
I think you should stay in London and do law from there b/c if you do law in US it will be hard to work in London...
As far as money is concerned you'll be getting almost the same amount b/c lawyers are paid around 60,000+ everywhere...
Stay in the U.K. It's the best place in the World to be. Americans are so... uchhhh.
Just to let you know, studying law in the U.S. does not preclude you from practicing law in the U.K. It may take a little longer and cost a little more in terms of education, but if you decide to go to law school in the states, you will be able to look at international law firms in both countries or just follow the normal UK Inns of Court path afterwards.

But by everything you are saying, it sounds like you are looking for a reason NOT to go to New York because you want to stay in the UK. You mentioned wanting to stay in the UK but you didn't give a single reason for wanting to go to New York, I think you already know what you want.
