Question:I'm filling out the student visa application for the UK and under "About your course" it has a blank field for you to fill out for Expected Qualification. What is this referring to?

It refers to the degree or course you wil obtain after you have completed your Education in UK. If you have applied for mba, then write MBA in that area, else msc then write MSC depends on the course that you have applied for. It basicaly means the degree that you get after cmpleting your studies.
"Expected Qualification" refers to the certificate, diploma or degree you will obtain after the completion of your course.
