Since you already speak Japanese, and presumably have a good knowledge of the culture, why not learn something new? The more languages and cultures you are familiar with, the better off you are and the more valuable you are in the corporate world. And besides, like one poster noted, Scandinavia is BEAUTIFUL! I just got back last month!

Lol, I'm sorry you have such a hard choice. Anyway, if you can speak Japanese, then I would go there. If anything Japan just seems a whole more interesting than Scandanavia.
I think you should go to Scandinavia so that I won't be ridiculously jealous that I've never been to Japan. =D
well if you speak the language, go to japan, but if you want a cultural experience go to Scandanavia. It is absolutely beautiful. I have been to all four scandinavian countries, and they are all breath taking. Each of them have such a rich history and own unique beauty.
Norway for its fjords, Denmark has Tivoli gardens. and you can get from one country to the next by taking a ferry and once you are in Denmark you can take a train anywhere in Europe.
