hmm well cost of living is highest in france in Paris, and in cities by the sea. marseilles, etc. in boring little town with no water, its cheaper LOL.

Just stay away from Paris, it is the most expensive place. Lyon isn't too bad. I went to a language school in Vichy to pick up my language level (Cavilam) and we had trips to Lyon which was close by. losts of students there too. if you go towards the mediterranian it gets more expensive (Nice is as bad as Paris)
