Question:Generally speaking when you study abroad, do you get to live without like a superior like guardian or somebody watching over you? Or are you free to go silly. I go to Uconn and Im thinking about studying abroad in Amsterdam and most of my time is gonna be getting hiziii without some1 telling me not too.
Answers:
In Amsterdam, there are a lot of places to get "silly" -- and legally too! If you are in college, you're on your own (can you say "coffee shop"?). Probably in an apartment of some sort.
However, if you spend most of your time doing that, you're wasting a good opportunity.
Most students studying abroad live and study on their own. If you decide to live on the dorm, you are subject to whatever the rules the dorm might have.
If you are thinking about playing around while studying abroad I'd recommend community college equivalent in Amsterdam, they might not kick you out.
