I love the French language, but if you plan to say in the U.S. or not planning on travel to places where they speak French, I would take Spanish. I took French in high school. As much as I loved the language I really wish I took Spanish. You use it more. I hear Spanish all the time. ( I live in the U.S.)

SPAINISH! when i had to pick between french and spainish i picked spainish randomly, because i thought it would be a change from the french i had learned from the past 5 years
thus spainish was really fun and helped me when i went travelling around the world (nearly all the countries spoke spainish(or some kind of spainish))
and spainish has helped me on many vacations i've been on
it is also in the top three of the worlds most spoken launguages(along with english and chineese) and french isn't

But if i was on your place i would take spanish instead of french... cuz i'm already studying french , and spanish is lot more easier ..
