Question:I obtained my CoE and will be applying for a student visa for Japan. My program lasts one year starting Oct 11, 2007 and ending Sep 30, 2008. How soon am I allowed to enter Japan under my student Visa, and when must I leave?
In the US the rule is two weeks before the start of term you can enter, and One month after the end of term you must leave. I wondered if Japan has similar rules, or if in going Oct, 1st I must return Sep, 30 (the last day of school).

Check with a nearby embassy or call the school and ask someone who is familiar with the program, I'm sure you'll be able to find answeres there. Good Luck.
