CCNY is located in upper Manhattan and the campus runs along Convent Avenue from 130st Street to 141st Street and it is on a hill overlooking Harlem. The campus is also served by the 137th Street-City College and 145th Street subway stations. Both are connected to the campus by shuttle buses.

As an international student you would not be permitted to work in full time employment. You are limited to working a maximum of 20 hours per week and then you are only allowed to work on campus.
