What is it like to teach foreign language (spanish)?

Question:I am planning on teaching in Florida

Answers:
Teaching World Languages is fun! You get to teach English, music, science, social studies, art--whatever you're interested, IN the target language. You get to 'play' with high school students and help them learn language. You get to be super creative by making an academic subject accessibile to all.
Don't get me wrong--it's a lot of work, but it's so much fun when it goes right! TPRS was a godsend to me, because it put the joy back into teaching.
30+ years teaching French/German to 11-14 year olds--and I'm still having fun!
