Once you get to uni you'll get plenty of guidance on how to structure your assignments. You get to see examples of past graded work . Usually you'll get set time to discuss your assignment with your tutor if it's in person or through email.
It's usually just introduction stating what you are going to discuss then a conclusion to sum it up, the whole thing supported by quotes and references.
It gets simple through time and you get to do assignments that don't count towards your degree, etc. You'll be fineeeee.

before you take your essay exam outline your

When you write your research or essay make sure you do not write in the passive using "was" or "were". Also, do not use the word "felt", "thought", or "believed". You were not around that time period so how do you know what they felt, thought, or believed? Just a pointer
