What is your suggestion for the title of such a book or CD?
For example, what do you think of these titles?
- HOW TO REVIVE DEAD BATTERIES
- YOUR LAST BATTERY BOOK
- NEVER BUY ANOTHER BATTERY AGAIN
- THE ULTIMATE BATTERY REVIVER'S GUIDE
- DEAD BATTERY SOCIETY HANDBOOK
- RECHARGE EVERY NON-RECHARGEABLE
I'm not sure what the target readership is. There are 12 billion non-rechargeables thrown out every year, allegedly causing up to 70% of all heavy metals in landfills, according to Mountain Equipment Coop.
However, the average {North American?} person uses 10-20 batteries a year, according to one study, which doesn't add up to 12 billion.
The target market might be in under-developed nations, too.
Please do a Google search for REVIVED BATTERIES.
Thanks for all suggestions.
Answers:
I certainly use more than 10 - 20 batteries in a year, but I have several items in my household that uses batteries, not to mention five smoke detectors and home intrusion backups. If this is a selling point, then of your choices mentioned I would go with "Never Buy Another Battery Again", as a catchy title. You may want to consider:
Battery Alternative
Forever Energized
Move Over Energizer Bunny (Might run into a trademark issue)
Of the titles you have suggested, I like "Never Buy Another Battery Again (with the sub title: How to Recharge Primary Batteries)
