Where can you download free textbooks?

Question:I'm taking a biology course and I was looking for the book: Biology 9th Edition by Sylvia Mader. If anyone has it in .pdf or even a link, please anwser.

Answers:
Good luck getting them free.

However, check out places like ebay and amazon. Generally you can find reasonable textbooks on there. Other students selling them mainly.

Or talk to students who have taken the class previously who will sell them to you reasonably.
Textbook companies are very protective of their rights. Why would they ever supply pdf files of their books? Do what is correct and go buy the book.
ignore the "do-good". if you can find textbooks online for free, GOOD FOR YOU. half the time, the schools offer books written BY the professor (sometimes not even completed texts) or "university" editions, exclusive to your school, and the entire textbook industry is a scam. yeah, these people are protective of their "rights". they want to take you for as much money as possible! (tuition, room/board, food, books... technology fees... and EVERYTHING ELSE).

try just going to your library for the REALLY expensive books. find a friend in the class and alternate taking the book out.
