weird.
Yeah , I'd run away
Is that seriously your teacher? I wouldn't necessarily run away but I would try to distance myself from her without seeming terrified.lol.scary stuff.
I'd have nightmares 4ever and a huge headache daily. She would totally freak me out. I think I'd either run away or try to get transfered to another class. My school would never hire a teacher that acted like she does.
Yes- but please keep in mind she is trying to modernize work you need to know. She is trying to make it interesting, so have a little compassion.

I would have shown the Leo/Claire version of the movie instead, but she's just trying to modernize what can be really boring for students today. I used to just read Poe's "Annabel Lee" and wait for students to realize what was going on. Then I'd get "AAAAAAAAAAGH, Miss! What the...?" But they got it. I don't try to be cool- although I am young, married to a musician, and still go out in NYC. I was still 'old' to the students because I was a teacher(at 22, still in the local music scene- but that isn't their business, that's my personal life).

At 30, interning with hs students, I don't try to be cool- I know it will look crazy to 17 year olds. I am fine with being a staff member/ intern, and don't care to be cool to you- but I feel really bad that everybody is making fun of this lady- she's trying to relate.
Iam a sub thats nothing<<<lol. I measured the size and deimensions of my arm while students were testing. They thought I was so wierd.
I think that was terrific! You can't say class is boring. She is very brave, plus she had your attention, didn't she?
I'm a teacher, so I understand where she is coming from, but honestly - no one from your generation would know the tune of the song she is singing - so yeah, I'd run!
I think that's so freaking awesome! I would get a kick out of her. I think it's really cute that she's willing to be so silly to really bring the story home. Her students (and anyone else who sees the video) will remember Juliette as a wacky "suicide girl" rather than just a star-crossed lover. :)
If you watch carefully, the video has been made up of many repeating gestures, so whilst it looks like she is a grape short of a full bunch, I don`t think it`s at all indicative of her normal behaviour. Don`t lose any sleep over it.
I see a teacher who went to a lot of trouble to reach her students at her own expense. You should be grateful you have a teacher who gives enough of a damn to worry about whether you understand Shakespeare. Grow up and give your teachers a break! They're only doing a job afterall.
