How can i get straight A's?

Question:Last year I got A's B's and rarley C's. I want to make my mother proud and get all straight A's but how can I? Im always comitted but then I slowly stop concentrating on homework and I always leave it off at the last minute Also I hate studying for tests. Im a smart person but how can I stop being so lazy.

Answers:
Much of that is in your hands. It is good that you can achieve success when you are committed—you can do it, Ultimately you must be getting these grades for yourself and your future! Perhaps a study group or regular tutoring just to help you keep your focus for a while..
Cheat.
Kepp doing what youre doing, you seem to be getting good grades already.
Study, study, study. Read, read, read. Good luck!
Im the same way i want to make my mother porund about my grades but i cant always seem to do it. this year im going to try really hard and not leave things to the last minute and study for my tests. thats the only way you can. STUDY.
good question i struggle sometimes with the same thing.
Make a schedule about what your going to do and keep saying it in your mind and eventually youll fess up to yourself and actually want to do it. : )
bend over infront of your pervert teacher make sure he looks at your bottom.. there is your AA++
listen.
study.
ask things you dont understand.
bribe your teacher.
Concentrate, stop procrastinating, always do your homework. If you are in school, your academics should be your first priority.
i always put all my lessions and anwsers on a cd or tape player and put the head phones on and then i went to sleep and the next day when i went to take my finals i found that i knew all the answers.I mean it worked for me.
Show your ingenuity for straight A's. Use a stencil.
Sleep better and eat better!
The best thing I can tell you is to stay focused on your homework until your done, that way #1 you don't have to worry about it again, and you don't have to rush to finish it and it possibly be wrong. Keep in mind, no one is perfect, it takes hard work and determination to get all A's. Good luck.
my friend is a strate a student and she is not a geek she is really popular around the school she dose her homework when she comes from school if there is alot if not she waits untile night time. she told me just be nice and connect to your teachers

Study over night.

Study the night before tests.
DON'T CRAM.
Study, break, study, break.
Find room for gaming and such on weekends..
you need to keep the mentality u have right now. NO one is going to do it for you. try to see it in the bigger picture
Do what most kids are doing today, buy your answers on the Internet. You may not learn what your in class for but hey, you make others feel like your smart.
you need to do the homework, classwork, do good on tests especially the big exams the teacher sets for you and im pretty sure thats it unless the teacher has some other expectations that she tells you to do for example like she tell you to bring the book every day to class that to can be part of your grade depending on what teacher .

also studying does help every now and then but if you do all the work in class and understand all that you do then studying is like good for 25 minutes but if not then you need to study really hard =/ on anything and everything twice ;]
spelling-put on head phones and listen to music when your writing spelling so the time flys same with studining do this and youll pay more attention to wat your doin hope this help u make your mom proud :)
Study! That's the answer! If you want it bad enough, you will do it! It is up to you?
Well you really have to b committed. Ask your parents if they can set up some kind of reward system if you get straight A's. Something that can can keep you motivated. And also it about how bad YOU want to get those grades. I'm a person who has high standards for myself so I don't settle for anything less than an A. Just do you absolute BEST on everything. Study hard. KEEP ORGANIZED and trust me it's rewarding. Starting on big projects and getting them over with b4 the due date is also nice so you aren't stressing right b4 the due date. And pay close attention in class so you don't have to study as much. because when you reading through your notes again you'll remember most of it because you were paying attention.

GOOD LUCK
u can pay attnetion more in class and ask questions whenever u need help. always do ur homework ASAP and try to make a game out of studying. for example, quiz urself and if u get a certain score, u can get a snack or take a break. Im a straight A student and i rarely study but when i do i memorize and also understand the material. i then take a 15 minute break and quiz myself on old material to see if i remember. then i start studying more material and repeat. you can also study with friends if theyd want to and also ask ur parents to help u with anythign u dont understand. Also, after tests and hw, recheck ur work to make sure u didnt make a stupid mistake. So basically, ask questions, study when needed, and double check ur work and u should be gettign the best grades possible for u.
I know exactly how you feel. I use to be same way. But then I asked myself what am I benefiting by being lazy. NOTHING. So I know it sucks to study. But you have to pick up the pace and get involve with school. Maybe you should join tutoring.
Write down notes and if you missed something you think was important ask your teacher to repeat and things your teacher says a lot underline in your notes.
Studying is really hard. Being Physically and Emotionally fit is the key to be successful in such studies. Moreover, all you have to do is to take down notes while in class, this is for you to easily remember your lesson. Make your notes patterned on your personality. Customize your notes on the way you want it appear. So that it's not boring while reviewing.
Chat with your friends and try to insert some infos you know related to topics too. So that memorizing is just natural.
Most important of all, maintaining a good health lets you concentrate more while studying.
Never think on how hard or tough a lesson is, just enjoy it the way you want it.
Remember! Learn everyday! Move your way! Your Way!
Set goals and work at them daily..look at all the losers in the world..then of what you can contribute to society
I was a procrastinator too but I actually did better academically after getting involved in some extracurricular activities that brought more required activity to my schedule and I believe partly because of the extra physical activity in my life, it helped me to concentrate better when I then focused on my time to do schoolwork. Try adding 1 extracurricular activity and see if that helps.

You wanting to impress your mother is admirable but don't be too hard on yourself. I graduated from college with a 4.0 but my friends with much lower GPA's who earned their college degrees were offered equally good jobs. I know high school grades can help in getting you some college scholarships but don't let getting good grades paralyze you.

What you see as laziness could be many other things such as undiagnosed depression or an undiagnosed problem such as a type of Attention Deficit Disorder. You can talk to your school counselor about this if you feel comfortable.
READ OVER AND OVER AND OVER!! til like u memorized the whole chapter... lol and study study and study! test yourself and memorize A LOT! til you actually completely memorize!! =] good luck and hope your mama feels proud! hahahaa
