Hey! Don't worry there is absolutely nothing to worry or panic about. I was also nervous about switching classes on my first day of middle school. For the first few weeks, most teachers are very nice and don't mind if you are late to class because they understand that you are new to middle school and that it is very different from elementary. Most Middle schools also provide a school map showing all the locations of the classrooms. You can also use that to guide you. I would also suggest to find your classes and plan out the directions of your classes before your first day of school just to get a feel of where you would go after each period. Overall, don't worry!! Switching classes is actually really fun! You have much more freedom in middle school compared to elementary where you are stuck in one classroom for the entire day. Switching classes also give you a chance to talk to your friends in the hallways and stuff.
They wont yell your first few days of school. Teachers know that your in 7th grade. If you got your school schedule you can go the day before school starts and look for your classes. Trust me you'll get used to it in a few days.
u can always go to school early and get some type of map or layout of the school with room numbers and teachers names, HOWEVER, there is nothing like a good ole' friend... i kno ur shy but a friend can give u more than the school map can. they can introduce u to other friends, tell u which teacher is mean, nice, etc...they can tell which food is great in the cafeteria, and which mystery meat to avoid.. make friends, after all u don't want to be the weird kid walking around with a map, enjoy school!!
