I was told that you only need a highschool diploma to sub. as a teacher is that true?

Question:also im not quite 18 yet i graduated a year early so im a young one! do you absolutely have to be 18?

here in AR you must have at least 45 hours of college credit to be able to sub teach ...I am not sure of other states. but that's how it is here. When I first started sub teaching I did it fresh out of high school and had no college but it was changed a few years back...check with the indiv. schools and see what their req are.
