Answers:
I listen. Think up questions. Make connections between what the teacher is saying and what I read on the topic before I came to class. I work with my group. If I am bored, I try to make my work as creative as possible. If I finish the math problems, I try to answer them another way. If I finish the reading, I try to paraphrase it in another language. When I have questions, I write them down and listen to see if the answer comes out in class.
do youre work and it will fly by...
*You should listen to your teacher
*Take notes
or if you are a bad student, you could:
*listen to music
*txt on ur fone
*chew gum
*draw
*count how many bottle caps that girl next to you has on her necklace
*pass notes
*sleep
*Or try to remember all 50 states and later, their capitals. (I just learned that from my teacher)
ya know, stuff like that
I doodle or look out the windows. But thats how I stay focused- I don't do it to slack off. I had a professor in college once that actually came up to me and said if I didn't want to be in class then just leave because I was being distracting by doodling and not staring straight ahead. I told her I *was* paying attention and thats how I focus...oh, and as a matter of fact I had a 3.8 in her class.
So, I guess doodle or look out the windows. But make sure you pay attention too. I know that staring straight ahead at the professor makes me fall asleep.
practicing my signature or scribbling in the back of my notebook
fart and make loud body noises
