How to change a teacher for my child?

Question:My son is a 3rd grader. He doesn't like his teacher in school. Is it a good idea to change a teacher? How can I change a teacher for him without hurting the feeling of the current teacher?

Answers:
Can you do that? Just because he doesn't "like" his teacher? I would think twice about doing this. If the teacher has done something that crosses the line, such as: made a joke or physically or emotionally hurt him then I wouldn't leave him in that class. I would think it would be a good idea to talk with your son and ask why he doesn't like the teacher. Then go and have a parent/ teacher talk and let this teacher know what is going on. This might can be fixed. If you take care of the problem by just pulling your son out of the classroom, he will live life thinking that daddy will take care of anything for me, no matter what. Now in some cases this is not a bad thing but there are some kids that "hide" behind their dad instead of facing their own problems. It has to start some where and I think it is time for tough love.
Of course, I do not know what the real situation is between your son and his teacher but I hope it turns out for the best.
Ask your son why he doesn't like the teacher. If it's a serious enough reason, talk to the teacher and the principal about it.
u change teacher . tell the teacher your son is not comfortable with him.
