Do you remember algebra?

This question is for anyone five years or more removed from an algebra course, whether it be elevated school or college.

After trolling a few algebra websites, I discovered that I own no idea how to do algebra, and this is coming from an above average student singular ten years removed from pre-calculus. This was a rude awakening. Of course, I remember tidbits of information, but not certainly enough to solve a elementary algebra II problem. Upon realizing this, I asked my friend, most of whom are also 10 plus years removed from algebra, what they remember more or less the subject. The typical response ran something close to “Uhhh.”

I really have no interest within math. Should I re-teach myself algebra?
