What is your opinion about Interchange Cambridge Series, ESL?

Question:Ia teach English as a Second Language, I use those books but they only help me as a guide...
I´d like to know other people´s opinions

Answers:
I don´t particularly like Jack Richard´s Interchange since it tends to be very centered on grammar and does not fully develop the language skills; speaking, listening, reading and writing or their sub-skills to their full potential. I think the textbook is very controlled and falls short of what it promises.

I can, however, recommend Oxford University Press Integrated Series. These books cover the teaching of the four skills and sub skills, grammar, plus strategies learning. Their themes are interesting to all learners. Also, the teacher´s guide provides a wealth of extra photocopiable material at the back of the book. The only minus in this series is that the student book is not interleaved in the teacher´s guide, which means that you have to go back and forth from one book to the next. Other than that, it´s great. Try it out, I am sure you will like it.
