No. Unless you have homework to do for the class she'll never know and, if you're a good typer already, how can she tell? Just keep "practicing" on EduQnA.com-it's more fun!
homework is homework, regardless if it is history - or typing - if you feel you are too advanced for the class, then talk to your teacher honestly.
It isn't about typing fast though, it is about accuracy, not looking at the keys, knowing where they are (hense why there are repetitive letters inthe sentences you are told to type)
If you get to the end of the class and are tested, on all skills, besides typing "fast"...you could end up failing.
and how embarassing would it be to fail a typing course?
Does she check your homework? If that is the case, then you need to do it... If not - As long as you are typing something - Answers or a book report, you shouldn't feel guilty.
If it is boring...you are not being challenged. Is there another class you can take instead?
Lying is never good...what if he asks to see your homework?
If you have to stay in this class, maybe you can type your other assignments (book report) to show him.
How does your teacher evaluate your homework? It seems unusual that she would assign homework that she doesn't grade. If she grades it, how do you get around that? It is not good to lie about it. Why not talk to your teacher about the fact that you are ahead of the class in terms of typing skills and ask if there is something else you could do?
Well, the older you get, the more teachers assign homework to benefit the student only. If students wish to do their homework then great. If students decide not to do their homework, it will only catch up with them later.
Once you're in highschool you decide whether you want to succeed or not, and your success is only up to you. But, you shouldn't lie. Teachers usually know when students don't do their homework. :p
